Floor properties in a civil project scenario

Floor properties

The following parameters are available in the Floor Properties window:

  • Name — the name of the floor;

  • Level (units: m) — the lower level of the floor;

  • Height (unit: m) — the height of the floor;

    By default, the floor height in the scenario is 3.0 m. The level of the first floor is 0 m. The level of the following floors is equal to the sum of the level and height of the floor below.

    In Fenix+, floor height is understood to be the distance measured from the floor level of the floor below to the floor level of the floor above.

    Definition of floor height

    When changing the floor height, the height of objects located on the floor does not change. Therefore, it is better to set the floor height immediately after creating it.

    To view and, if necessary, change the levels and heights of all floors, right-click on the Building name and select Floor Properties from the opening menu.

    Floor Setup window

    The window that opens displays a list of all floors for which you can change the name, level, and height.

  • Number of occupants. A solely informational property, showing the number of occupants currently dislocated on the building floor.
